Educational backround
In 2016, Mr. Grigoryan successfully completed a comprehensive law program at the French University in Armenia, which was conducted in collaboration with Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University. Following his graduation, he was awarded a French diploma from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University and an Armenian diploma from the French University in Armenia.
Additionally, during the same period, he pursued a bachelor's degree in Management from the Armenian State University of Economics in 2017.
Then, he obtained his Master's Degree in Law (Diploma with Honors) from Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia (from 2016 to 2018).
In his master's thesis, Mr. Arman thoroughly examines the intricacies of limitation periods under the RA Civil Code. The thesis sheds light on the nature of limitation periods, their underlying goals, and the significant impact of their expiration on civil rights. Furthermore, it delves into the determination of the starting point, encompassing both general rules and peculiarities and the complex issues surrounding the suspension, interruption, and renewal of the statute of limitations.
While working on his master's studies, he also completed his studies at the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia (2016-2017), a necessary step in obtaining a license. After that, he successfully passed the bar exams and got his license to work as an advocate.
After finishing his PhD studies at the European University of Armenia from 2018 to 2021, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis before the RA Supreme Certifying Committee (Jurisprudence-063) Specialized Council. He was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law in 2021.
The dissertation, "Constitutional Right to Compensation for Damage: Comparative Analysis and European Legal Standards", examines the intricate topic of compensation for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damage as a robust remedy for human rights violations. The analysis encompasses a thorough review of ECtHR jurisprudence pertaining to both tort law and human rights law, offering valuable insights into this significant issue.
